This is only a small overview of my needlework. Two pieces were made during my childhood days at elementary school: a bag to store a clothes brush and a small embroidered table centre. Since then I've made quite a collection of needlework, including several samplers.

The 1995 sampler that I've done is on a 12 threads per cm linen canvas and shows antique-like stone coloured ornaments. Before I started to embroider, I diluted a textile dye with water and applied the dye in sweeping movements on the fabric. When the dye was dry, I dipped the fabric in a tea fluid. The dyed spots do not soak up the tea. It will give the fabric a touch of authenticity.

The mini sampler 'BS 1999', which measures 7.5 cm x 6 cm, is embroidered on a 22 threads per cm canvas.
